The purposes and legal basis for the processing of personal data

We process your personal data with the following purposes:

  • To provide, understand, improve, and develop our services.

  • ​To evaluate the effect of our services and advice.
  • ​To provide, personalize, measure, and improve our advertising and marketing and to be able to send information of other relevant courses.

The basis for the data processing is to be able to fulfill the agreement on advice, counseling or healthcare professional treatment based on specific health or personal information. Marketing of other offers will require further consent.​

As mentioned above our processing of your personal data is (partly) happening on grounds of the interest balance rule in the data protection law article 6, paragraph 1, litra f. The legal interests, that support the processing of your personal data, is our interest in how to develop our courses based on gathered materials and feedback from former course participants and to develop marketing strategies in the future.

Categories of personal information

In principle, we handle the following categories of your personal information (not necessary all your personal data, but just those data that you give to us):

  • Ordinary personal information: Name, workplace (registered with address and company number), position and contact information.

Recipients or categories of receivers

We deliver or leave your personal information to the following:

  • Course location: we share the name of the course participants with the course venue to arrange the course and possibly accommodation.

  • Accounting firm: We share the necessary data with our accounting firm in order to invoice our services to you, your employer or other relevant party.

  • ​Web Developer: When you sign up for our newsletter, your email address will be registered at our web developer. You can at any time notify us that you do not want to receive newsletters about courses etc.

We may also share aggregated information (information about our users or course participants that we combine so it no longer identifies or references an individual user or course participant) and other anonymized information for regulatory compliance, industry and market analysis, research, demographic profiling, marketing and advertising, and other business purposes.​

Storage of your personal information

Information collected in connection with registration for our courses is saved and stored for 5 years, unless you contact us with a query to get this information deleted. We store your information to have documentation of any previously courses, as we offer follow-up courses. In addition, we store your information in connection with accounting, invoicing, auditing and the possibility of optimizing our services. We put much emphasis on protecting all data at all times as well as deleting information when they are no longer necessary to document the development of our activities.

Withdrawal of consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent at all times. You can do this by contacting us (contact details listed above). Please note that this is only relevant if we have consent to process information other that those required for the course, invoicing and accounting.

​If you withdraw your consent, it does not change the legal rights of our processing of your data based on an earlier consent given by you up to the day of withdrawal of your consent. If you withdraw your consent, it has only effect from the day of your withdrawal of your consent.

According to the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights in relation to the processing of information about you.

  • Obtain access to the personal data held about you.

  • Object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes or on grounds relating to your particular situation.
  • Request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in specific cases.
  • Receive your personal data in a machine-readable format and send it to another controller (‘data portability’).
  • Request that decisions based on automated processing concerning you or significantly affecting you and based on your personal data are made by natural persons, not only by computers. You also have the right in this case to express your point of view and to contest the decision.
